sigh.. life has no meaning. between work and more work, there was kingdom of heaven. and it was a bummer. orlando bloom cannot do it man, he has no charisma, nor the class to deliver such a role. and the lines which were okay for the most part, fell totally flat at the crucial moments. the show was too politically correct, which i felt took away a lot of oomph from a show like this. but i guess if it wasn’t PC, someone woulda bombed my precious Orchard Cineleisure. oh well.

but anyhoos, the movie only provided one with a very short glimpse of the seven crusades which lasted almost 250 years. not enuf for a history lesson, but enuf for an action flick. i must say some of the images in the show were really loaded and quite potent. but that’s where the good stuff ends. i’m usually quite forgiving with movies, but this one… sigh. but, i still enjoyed it nonetheless i always believe that all shows have something good about them, and in this show, it was Saladin. holy cripes, he was da bomb! skinny as a copper rod, cool as a cucumber in the desert. my idol. the christians were nowhere as cool as him, orlando bloom coulda passed off as his armpit and no one woulda said anything.

something which i had to blog about was the LCT. our new Low Class Terminal… oops.. Low COST terminal. haha. why the need for an abbreviation with the letters LC. hahahha…. Low Class, Lan Ciao, Low Chee…, need i go on? call it a budget terminal for goodness’ sake, or terminal 4, the Other terminal, anything but LCT. hahaha. oh well. who am i to say right? guess its just me, so don’t take it too personally whoever is reading this.

yet another scholar gets sued by a singaporean organisation. are these scholars fukin stupit or wat. wat freedom of views are they loookin for. fukin idiots. shuddup and go flush your head in the toilet. stop makin such stupid comments about our great local companies, govt and organisations! /*pats myself on the head*/ this just shows you shuldn’t give money to smart people, cuz they end up acting smart on you. stupit shites. all of them. /spit

so happy yesterday cuz i got me a new mobile phone and a free ipod shuffle. i not a fan of shuffle, but who am i to say no to freebies? ‘nuff said.

on another note, i just read the papers about the idiot scholar who made racist remarks. its not the fact that he is racist that bothers me, its the fact that he is a PSC scholar, headed for the upper echelons of our “gahmen” service, and was stupid enough to publish his views on a public medium. i’m sure this raises many issues of privacy. but hey, you’re a future civil servant, so come transparent please. i say revoke his bloody scholarship. hahha.. this “uncle” made a really scary forum letter statement the other day in ST. i think he said they should revoke his scholarship and throw him off his high horse and let everyone look down on him to let him learn a lesson. if this idiot scholar was any man on the street i would say “have some mercy” or “give him a break”, but he’s a PSC scholar, taking public money for his stupid education, so i say slice off his balls and let him be a eunuch. you heard me, slice it off. let him feel some discrimination.

i won’t condemn him for his act, cuz someone great (hint: he died on a cross) once said:

let he who is free from sin cast the first stone

or something to that effect, i’m quite sure 98% of us will not be throwing anything anywhere. so get off your moral high horse. its a more deep-rooted problem than anyone would care to admit it is. it stems from our upbringing, the development of our society, the conditions and environment that our predecessors (parents etc) went through. can we change it? sure. immediately? no. educate educate educate. having racial harmony day is a start. but not enough. look at the ratio of chinese to malay to indian to “others” (haha… my favorite category). can we seriously say we can expose everyone to everyone else? nope. we just have to make sure that we imbue respect, tolerance and open-mindedness to the people around us, and hopefully, they will pass it on. equipped with the right mentality, it can be done.

discrimination exists. its not good. we don’t have to live with it. but we can’t impose our views on everyone (unless you’re hitler, or… ahem) so educate your children. educate your friends. make the world a better place. and slice off the scholar’s nuts.

Weather Update: Fucking Hot. period.

I must have hit my head so hard on my bed’s sideboards last night to actually want to go for McD’s breakfast at ECP this morning. stupid? no.. insane is more like it. ECP could have passed off for normandy on d-day, with infant soldiers (infant-icide.. hahhah.. get it? bleh..) and nazi’s on wheels (arms flailing, body wobbling, jus ready to kamikaze ur ass). McD’s was a sight. sometimes i wish i would instinctively take pictures cuz it was madness. think chatuchak market with fools on rollerblades and wailing children. yes crazy i know.

and then i was seated next to the “thing”. what is with people who don’t shave their armpit (underarms) hair, wear a fucking tank top and then lift up their arms. knnbccb. my fuckin big breakfast was probably screaming its calories out. i can’t stand that shit man. i mean if you’re running or something then fine, i dun care, but when you’re in a fucking eating establishment, cover up your armpits with pampers or panty liner or something. don’t fucking expose it next to me. next time i see one of those, i will take a picture and then stab a fork into the armpit. sounds like an idea.

then as i was walking out, i walked past this new bar at ECP next to coffee bean. i saw AMs drinking beer. Drinking beer in the morning in the hot sun. hope they dehydrate to death. hahahha. nothing wrong about drinking beer in the morning in the hot sun. just felt bitchy that’s all. ECP itself was a collage of putrid smells and sound. haha. i am joking. it was actually quite interesting. i saw this group of 30 indians in a circle doing what i could only describe as praise and worship, complete with percussion and “hallelujahs”. interesting. then the malay and chinese families picknicking were “chilling” out to the music, while their children were busy killing each other with beachballs. i don’t understand the logic of sitting in the hot sun, next to the hot sand, on hot stools, eating un-hot food with hot sand in them. fascinating. don’t get me wrong, i love picnics, but not when it seems like the sun jus moved 50% closer to Singapore, my love for the outdoors goes on a sabbatical. and wat about ppl in their tents absorbing the glorius rays of the sun. all that comes to mind. foul smells. fuking smelly.urgh.

if u read the ST this morning, notice that PM Lee in one line went “But I and my colleagues…”, i learnt in primary school that it was always “my colleagues and I”. guess no one scripts his “impromptu” comments. i know, i’m a bitch. (don’t get me wrong, i love the PAP, but bad english must be followed by bad criticism).

okay time for a shower.

what a productive day! the recent spate of knnbccb hot weather has been overtaken today by nice, overcast skies.. and what better thing to do on a dark and gloomy day? sleep. i want to sleep somemore dang it. but the stack of unread transcriptions and my 1st june deadline is beckoning to me.. more like.. holding out a knife at my jewels, so.. choice i do not have.

in other news, our PM says our economy is going good, even though we’re going to see retrenchments, that’s all good. it’s always good. since he’s not getting retrenched. oh no, hope the black helicopters don’t start appearing outside my window.

i’ve been tinkering around with wordpress a tad bit too much. looking at all these uber cool sites have gotten me drooling. i’m goin to add me more bells and whistles to this site as soons as i finds them.

no WOW for me yesterday. my fingers are aching to double click the game icon, but… no. i can’t do it. i’ll start two new categories on the blog soon. one for WOWblog (for my adventures in the Eastern Kingdoms) and another for TechShite (for my continual fascinations with stupid gadgets and technology crap). sounds cool? hell, i’m jus talkin to myself here.. hahaha..

everyone’s saying i shud bloody hell update my stoopid blog. but hey, RL (real life a.k.a. dissertation) + FL (fantasy life a.k.a. World of Warcraft) has not been kind to me. between transcribing and typing my life away, i have also been adventuring away as Vikktor the Mage (who happens to tailor and mine) on World of Warcraft. more pictures and exciting stories coming once i finish my dissertation and finally get to play WOW to my hearts content. /lol /roar /cheer (see what i’ve become…)

my fingers are spasming from pressing alt-f-s every 2 minutes. why not ctrl-s, god knows. i’m a geek who likes things done the hard way. the HARD way. i actually wanted to start blogging again durin the week of a series of (un)fortunate events (i’m referring to the week of 2 casinos, pope dying and something else which i can’t bloody remember), but laziness overcame me. i tried running real fast to escape it, but hey, i’m not that fast. /lol

at least in blogs i can type really wrong sentences which do not need to make any coherence sense in whatever way possible and i can even bloody hell do so in a long paragraph which still does not have to make grammatical sense and i can be really happy about it cuz the past few months have been spent writing sentences that are short, sweet and overall boring which i really can’t stand and you can see that i am really good at typing very long paragraphs and very long sentences like this one which is still making sense isn’t it? Kerouac used to write like this, “stream of consciousness” he said, i would say “stream of drunkeness”, i like it.

okay, that’s enough, critics and pundits please do not think that i have expended 6 mths of blogging ability into one post. expect another one real soon. i’ve been reading the news and stuff and realise taht a lot of things in this world require my deep insight and comments. so i shall provide. happy new year!

The past day and a half has been simply gorgeous. Grey overcast skies, occasional dribbles of rain, gentle (and not so gentle) breezes into my room and just generally cool cool air tickling my toes. yes, for once i am happy with the singapore weather.

why can’t we have more of this. enough of the searing heat . gimme gloomy cold dark days.
