meanwhile, in case i can’t access the net, jus wanna wish all my frens in cyberland, warmest wishes and hopefully you have a merry merry christmas….

after almost 12hrs of sword-clanging, my ass hurt like shit. return of the king was too draggy for my liking. the actions sequences and first 2/3 was oke. but the ending felt like an eternity. oh god, too much slow-mo, too much touchy-feely “brotherly-sisterly-frenly” moments. and it didn’t help that i had to pee. once during TTT before helm’s deep begun. and once more after 1/3 of ROTK had begun. i haf to say that TTT was my favourite. the extended version really made the movie make more sense. i mean it kinda gave more head and tail to the episode. i can’t believe they removed so many parts from the original cinematic release.

today has been a long long long day. slow too. played abit of my ROTK game. man! its much better than the movie. hahhaha..

one more day till i leave for shanghai. cold weather, here i come!

sorry for the looooong pause… lots of things happening in my life. thankfully happy things but yes, for the umpteenth time, i’m back? hehe.

yesterday i was mad enough to finally buy a book which i’ve been wanting to get for quite some time, Simulacra and Simulation.

well after reading the first page, i feel so stoopid. man, this wasn’t making any sense.. haha.. just fyi, this was one of the 3 books that all the crew and actors of the matrix had to read before embarking on the shoot. it kinda provides the grounding la.

anywayz, an update on watz goin to happen in the merry month of december..

1>> i’m going to start work on the “food from the heart” website. you know the folks who distribute bread? i’m helpin with the newsletter website la. hopefully i do a good job, dammit. my web skills have been rotting man. heh..

2>> going to revel in my communist homeland from the 20th to the 28th, as i visit mao-land. i can’t wait for the freezing winter to freeze my nuts off… woooohoooo! (i’m seriously looking forward to the weather!)

3>> i’m going to try to read the books that i haf and jus bought:
a> The medium is the message
b> Simulacra and Simulation
c> The NTT DoCoMo Story (can’t remember the exact title)
d> Complexity (dunno wat the hell it is)
e> other misc stuff to do with my thesis.. shudders

4>> i shuld really try to get some stuff done for my thesis.. need to read more and think more.. puts on thinking cap
